Developing a Signature Program - The Process Begins
Old Mill High School is now moving forward with identifying a Signature Program and cordially requests the assistance of the parents, students, staff, and community and business leaders. The Signature, a new concept for Anne Arundel County School System, is a full partnership between the community and the school and a true collaboration with the community to develop 21st century workforce skills and pathways through Signature specific curriculum and co-curricular opportunities.
A Team called the Integrated Community Stakeholder Team (ICST) will be formed to create, implement, and maintain relevant and meaningful opportunities for students in Signature specialized coursework and co-curricular challenges Every sector of the community (health, government, education, business, industry, media/communication and community organizations/non profits) will be represented in this ICST. All students in the Old Mill High School will be able to participate at some level because the Signature will have many elements that coexist with other program currently in place in the school.
Your involvement can begin with the five minute survey linked to this page. The survey is the initial phase of the development process. Please, be a part of this effort in helping us identify the best program the community can support and sustain by completing the survey. It should only take approximately three to five minutes. Click Here to take the survey.
